Can't (Halloween Valentine)

In the previous post I mentioned my research on illustrations that I hope to print on plain shirts in order to customize them. Besides the beautiful ones uploaded here there’s also a drawing that I did today combining my favorite ingredients: fashion design, victorian, skeletons, macabre and polka dot! As I stared at the result of a morning’s work I realized that the long-dead couple of skeletons would look fine in a shirt so I can’t wait to get it done! (honestly I wasn’t planning to draw a pattern myself and this drawing was made just because it is Halloween time – in the end it fitted like a glove). As soon as they’re finished I'll have pictures uploaded. For now: Welcome to the freak show!

Em BioShock Infinite, saímos da cidade submersa de Rapture e subimos aos céus até a cidade flutuante de Columbia. Há uma década estava sendo lançado um dos melhores jogos de FPS já criados. Por mais fissurada por jogos que eu seja, poucos são os games capazes de me cativar tão profundamente. O caso de BioShock Infinite é interessante. Após jogá-lo por algumas horas, comentei com o meu namorado sobre a sensação de o jogo ter me feito “voltar a ser criança” . Fiquei completamente absorvida pelo universo e pela história, entorpecida pelos pequenos detalhes repletos de easter eggs , pela beleza dos gráficos e pela vivacidade de Columbia. Este texto é a minha declaração de amor por essa obra de arte . Terceiro título da aclamada série BioShock produzida pela Irrational Games, Infinite se passa em 1912, portanto, sua história é anterior à dos outros dois títulos. Gothic room decor – cheap ways of getting your own bat cave

Home decoration is something I have a crush on but though I have a foot into the goth scene I don’t like this extremely black thing. My wardrobe is indeed filled with black garments – but this is something I’ve been changing lately because I don’t have time nor the patience for dressing like a victorian crow all the time. This is pointless. Instead of buying everything black I’ve given a chance for other colors, like red and blown. My house is far from being a goth or medieval realm. Actually one would never guess a goth girl lives here, except for the witch dolls on my shelves: the walls are light yellow, the curtain almost white and there’s absolutely nothing indicating my tastes. I don’t usually hang band posters on the walls, though I had a few pictures of random bands a while ago, but it also said nothing about me enjoying the subculture. Este artigo é bem extenso e fala de um jogo muito importante para mim... Hoje estou aqui para falar sobre uma das coisas que mais marcaram na minha vida, algo muito especial para mim e que eu gostaria de dividir com seja quem for que visite meu blog. Em uma das primeiras postagens eu prometi que futuramente ia criar um post dedicado a ele. Sendo assim eu comecei a trabalhar no artigo acrescentando e removendo coisas até que ele estivesse satisfatório. Mesmo depois de finalizá-lo eu o deixei guardado caso eu resolvesse mudar alguma coisa.  Devido à importância que GCK tem para mim, eu quis escrever sobre o jogo, acrescentar algumas coisas sobre os personagens tiradas da revista e também adicionar meus próprios screen shots feitos enquanto eu jogava. Ao longo deste artigo não me limitarei a falar somente do jogo; mas de outras coisas que se relacionaram a ele, por isso não estranhe se do nada eu começar a falar sobre música, isso não significa que eu esteja saindo do contexto do artigo.
